Dock Tally Payback Calculator (INR)

Work out what shortage and excess disputes and manual tally work cost your dock each month, and how long a camera-based dock tally would take to pay back. Every figure comes from the numbers you enter; nothing is stored or sent.

Every figure here comes from the numbers you enter. Nothing is stored or sent anywhere. Use your own claim records and your supplier’s quotation; a short trial on your dock is the best way to check the “disputes avoided” and “time freed” percentages.

How the numbers work: monthly dispute loss = trucks per day × working days × disputed loads per 100 trucks ÷ 100 × average write-off per disputed load. Savings = that loss × the share of disputes you expect to avoid, plus tally staff cost × the share of their time freed. Payback = one-time cost ÷ (monthly savings − yearly support ÷ 12).
